West Branch Township Downtown Development Current and Past Projects
L.E.D
Light
Pole
Project
One of the DDA’s largest projects to date was lighting up the entire business loop in the DDA District. Complete with L.E.D Lighting and Black Poles.
Business Loop Pathway / Bridges
Completed at the same time as our lighting project. The business loop Path way and bridges were a great way to make our community walkable and connect all business areas of the district .
Community
Banner
Project
April 2024, the community Banner project is getting an Enhancement. The DDA spent over $8,500 for New and Custom designed Banners for the Business Loop that complement the Project Rising Tide Branding for the West Branch Area and the Townships un-official slogan.
COMPLETED M-55 Road Improvement Project
Finished in 2022 the DDA’s large scale infrastructure projects included water lines, sewer lines, and a Non-Motorized Pathway along M-55 Highway which leads to the Ogemaw Hills Recreation Area.
